... and so it was that the air patrol gained a new member ...
For my birthday the great Yane got another trip to Wings of War, of which I did a quick review here. This is a two-seater LFG Roland CII of the Axis forces, driven by Seibert & Pfleger ... beauty is not so much firepower (B does give both the front and back) as his arch firing back, which almost 270 degrees, in fact, added to the front makes a great watch!
But what does the Flying Tuna? got to do and how. The plane is in fact painted ... a fish! Yes, he designed the hull and the scales on the face is painted the face! Needless to say, which quickly became "One of my favorite" and was instantly nicknamed Tuna Volante.
WWWuueeeeeuummm !!!... ra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta !!!... Nein nein nein nein!
